BRITISH SERVICE RIFLES.
INFERIOR TO FRENCH AND GERMAN. Received November 2, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, November 1. Responding for the English team after the presentation of the Elcho Shield at the Mansion House, Colonel Fremantle said that in consequence of the use of more modem ammunition, French and German service rifles were greatly superior to those ot the British in respect of accuracy.
