MARLBOROUGH JUBILEE.
CELEBRATION AT BLENHEIM.

The Jubilee celebrations today were an unprecedented succcess, inducing a record crowd ofjesidents and visitirs from other parts Over twenty members of Parliament participated in the ceremonies, and also the Mayors of Dunedin, Nelson and North East V alley (Dunedin). Heavy rain marred the Gubernatorial function in Market Place, and after Lird Plunket had replied to the address of welcome, the soeechifying was postponed to the old identities' banquet in the Town Hall in the afternoon. At that banquet the speakers included His Excellency the Gove-mr, Hons. T. McKenzie and Buddo, and Messrs Massey, Laurenson, Parata, J. Allen and J Duncan. Other celebrations of the day were bullock-roasting by Maoris, a cantata in the Town Hall and fireworks. The Govern i- was entertained at a masonic banquet in the evening, and will attend the A. ami P. Show to-morrow. The majority of the Parliamentary party have returned to Wellingi ton.
