CANADIAN IMMIGRATION.
Received November 1, 10.35 p.m. OTTAWA, November 1. For the first half of the new fiscal year the number of immigrants arriving in Canada totalled 120,933, including 50,486 Americans. Mr W. J. Bryan, the American Presidential candidate, speaking at Winnipeg, said that Canada was the only country in the world able to draw Americans from the United States and keep them. He saw no objection to Americans becoming naturalised Canadians.
