SCIENTIFIC MEN INTERESTED.
Received October 29, 9.10 p.m. LONDON, Octobar 29. The Astronomical Society reports that recent observations 'of Mars
show that a gloomy yellow veil enshrouds immense tracts, obliterating the caLal markings. Last August the Southern Polar Cap was observed fractured, and a brilliant spot covered one dusky area.
