ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

About 5 o'clock, this evening, an elderly man, named Hamilton Geary, residing at Hea'.hc )te, attempted to commit suicide by cutting his throat with an ordinary pocket knife. He was taken to the hospital, where it is thought that he n not.iii immediate danger. He has been practically bedridden with rheumatism for soma considerable time.
