GERMANY'S UNEMPLOYED
TEN THOUSAND WORKERS DISMISSED. Received October 22, 9 a.m. BERLIN, October 21. Ten thousand tobacco workers have been dismissed in Germany, and more will be dismissed when the Christmas rush is over. Many who were given work on the Berlin-Stettin Canal were obliged to discontinue owing to physical unfitness.
