Received October 22, 10.50 p m | LONDON, October 22. j Last evening His Majesty King Edward, who was staying near Chicester, touched an elecrtic button and opened the Tuberculosis Institute at Montreal. The spark actuated a motor at Montreal, which opened the doors, lit lights and hoisted a flag. King Edward's message was as follows:—"The means whereby I open this building testifies to the power of modern} scienca. lam confident that the Institute will afford equal testimony to that power when relief is applied for human suffering."
