HAWKE'S BAY SHOW.

The weather was dull to-day, with occasional light showers, but the attendance of the Peo pie's Dav of the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Spring Show was not affected, there being an extremely large assemblage of people. The following are the additional I results:—Champions: Thoroughbred sire Mr A. Laing's Glengownie; Jersey bull, Mr J. S. Nelson's Oceul ist II; Hack, J. S Williams' Patea. Points Prizes: Poultry section, R. R. Smith 58 1; Mrs E. Ra'dwin 2; Silver Wyandottes, John Curne 24 points 1. Black single comb Orpingtons, G. C. Thorndon 10 points The competitions resulted as fol lows:—Wool classing, L. M. Espagne 1, F. J. Kelly 2, A. Dean 3. Sheepshearing Competition (speed). Ihaka Bobin 1, Sam Hawkins 2, Pat Hokianga 3.
