AN IMPALED FINGER.
WHAT THE POLICE FOUND
Received October 19, 9 a.m. LONDON. October 18. The police found a mans finger impaled upon a gate spike at Clerkanwell. The Fingerprints Depart rsent of Scotland Yard discovered that it belonged to a man named May, who was alreadjr in custody for attempted theft. May was sentenced to a year's imprisonment.
