AERIAL FLIGHTS.
TESTS AT: BLACKPOOL.
LARGE NUMBER OF COMPETITORS. United Press Association—By Electric Teletraph Copyright. Received October 19, 9 a.m. LONDON, October 18. Aviation tests at Blackpool wili open to-day. There will be fourteen competitors, in addition to MM. Pauihan, Pa'rman, Latham, Le Blanc, nougier, Fournier and Fernandez. Received October 19, 9.20 p m. LONDON, October 19. M. Le Blanc lost control of his Bleriot monoplane, and fell 50 feet into the Juvisy Grandstand, several spectators being injured. The spectators at the Blackpool tests totalled 250,000. M. Rogier covered 22 miles, sometimes at the rate of 40 miles an hour. M. Farman attained a speed of 45 miles an hour, and M. Le Bron at Doncaster covered 22 miles in halfanhour.
