United Press Association—iiy Electric Telegraph Copyright, Received October 12, 9 a.m. LONDON, October 11. Many newsapers denounce Mr LSoydGeorge's incendiary speech. The "Pall Mall Gazette" exposes what it describes as "rhetorical falsehoods," and infers that Mr Lloyd-George challenges the right of everyone to inherit anything which is not due to personal exertion. Other Unionist papers complain of Mr Lloyd-George's vindictiveness. Radical papers rejoice at the prospect of the undutiful rich being made to contribute their share to the Exchequer. Commenting on the speech made at Newcastle by the Right Hon. D. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Opposition newspapers say that it was worse than that delivered by him at Limehouse. it was, they urge, the speech of a demagogue, a deliberate attempt to set class against class. The "Daily Chronicle" and "Daily News" compare the speech to some made by Mr Chamberlain in his Radi • cal days.
