TARATAHI RACING CLUB.
The Taratahi-Carterton Racing Club has issued an attractive programme for its annual meeting which takes place at the Clareville Racecourse on November 9th and 10th. Amongst the best endowed of the sixtee i events comprising the bill of fare are the Wairarapa County Cup of 200 aovs, one mile and a quarter; Railway Handicap of 100 sovs, six furlongs; Telegraph Handicap if 100 sovs, six furlongs, and Clareville Handicap of 150 svs, one mile. There are also two hick hurdle races and several hack Flat events. Entries close with the secretary, Mr J. B. Bairstow, Carterton, on October 22nd.
