A BALLOON RACE.
GORDON-BENNETT CONTEST. WON BY AN AMERICAN. Receivsd October 7, 11.35 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Octboer 7. Mix's balloon, the "America No. 2," won the Gordon Bennett contest, making a voyage of eleven hundred kilometres, and landing north ot Warsaw, where the Russian police arrested Mix. Twenty balloons started from Zurich.
