STEAMER WRECKED.

[ Revived October 7, 11.15 p.m. & SYDNEY, October 7. The agents of the Pacific Phosphates ■Company received a cable to-day ; stating that their steamer, the Ocean Queen, had been wrecked at Makatea, in the Lower Archipelago. . All on board were saved. No other -details were available. The Ocean Queen is a new vessel built especially for the phosphate trade, and was on her maiden voyage. She loaded phosphates at - Ocean Island and proceeded to Honolulu. *She left there again early in August enjroute for Sydney, via the Ocean .Island. Mr Arundel, one of the directors of the Phosphates Company, was on board.
