PERSONAL.
Dr Deamer, who has for many years resided in Featherston, will leave Wellington by the Ulimaroa to-/ day, for Sydney, where he will take up his residence. Mrs Margaret Morton, a highly respected resident of Masterton, died at the Masterton Hospital yesterday morning. The funeral will leava the residence of Mr F. C. Morton, Lansdowne, for the Masterton Cemetery at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs Wilton, of Owen Street, Wellington, who died on Monday last, at the age of eighty-seven years, was a sister-in-law of Mr Job Wilton, ot Wilton's Bush, and had been a resident of Wellington'for a long period. She leaves six sons and seven daughters, the former being Messrs Albert and, Arthur Wilton, of Wellington, Messrs David Wilton, of Marlborough, Jesse and Leonard Wilton, of the Wairarapa, and Henry Wilton, of Palmerstou North. The death occurred yesterday morning in a private hospital in Masterton of Mr Thos. Power, of* Dreyer'a Rock, Mauriceville. The deceased., who was 68 years of ege, was a native of New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland, and came to New Zealand about 45 years ago, and for the past 21 years has resided on his farm at Dreyer's Rock. The deceased whs of a genial .but retiring disposition, and never mixed in public affairs. He leaves a widow, four sons and two daughters, together with a large circle of friends to mourn his Joss. , The funeral will take place in Mas* tenon to-day, leaving St. Patrick's Church at 2 o'clock.
