The following were the results Second Hurdles.—Loadstar 10.2, 1; Golden Brown 9.0, 2; Winsign 9.9, 3. There were twelve starters. Won easily by three lengths. Kai* roma in the early part of the race, but faded into the finished laat. 4min 45sec. ' "Craven Plate. —Maltine |l, BlueParsee 3. gThere were eight starters. When the field was once going Lord Nolan took charge, followed by Maltine, Hyman. Hoax and Parsee, with Mountain King last. There was little chpnge in the position of the field till the half mile, where Hoax joined Lord Nolan, tba pair being clear of Maltine with Parsee, Hyman and Montcalm net. Rounding the turn Hoax dropped back. Maltine joined Lord Nolan. Reaching the half distance Bluebook and Parsee, coming fast, joined issue with the leaders. After a great finish Maltine won by a neck, Parsee being threequarters of a length away.
Suburban Handicap. Mundoie 7JI, I; Rose Ailie 9.7, 2; War Bee 7.3, 3. There were sixteen starters. Won easily by two lengths. Time, lmin 39isec. Grantham Stakes.—Grist 1, Danilo 2, Patronatus 3- Ten started. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 40sec. Gimcrack Stakes.—Gigandra 3, Precious 2, Syhanaer 3 There were twenty-two starters. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 55sec. Sydney Handicap. —Vavasor 7.12, 1; Britain 6.12, 2; Orange 7.0, 3. Fifteen starters. Won by a length. Time, 2min 34£ sec. Provocation and Golden Slippir and Maranui were all s ratched for the Craven Platp. Received October 6, 8.55 p.rr. SYDNEY, October 6. Royal Blue, winner of the Kinsington and Squatters' Handicaps at the A.J.C. meeting has been sold for 750 guineas to an Indian buyer, with a contingency of £3OO, in the event of the horse winning either the Uaulfiel 1 or Melbourne 'Jups.
