Good Merino Is 2Jd; medium merino Is o|d; inferior merino lOJd; fine crossbred Is 3d; medium crorisberd Is OJd; coarse crossbred, 40's, 9i<3;. coarse crossbred, 36'p, BJd. Ninety-four thousand bales sold at the wool sales; 4,000 bales of wool held over; 32,000 bales were taken for the Continent; and 6,000 baled for America. Sales closed strong. As compared with last sales' closing rates, prices are about 10 per cent, to 15 per cent, higher for Merino medium and inferior, and medium crossbred; fine greasy crossbred; coarse greasy crossbred.
