INCREASED TRAFFIC. Received October 4, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Octobers. The profits of the North German Lloyd's Shipping Company for the first half of the present year were due to increased receipts from North American traffic. The current halfyear shows an equally good development. The Hamburg-American line has also done well. The profit for 1909 is estimated at from 4to 5 per cent.
