Two thousand eight hundred and fourteen disbelieve Cook's amnion tnat he discovered ths North Pole, and fifty-sight • thousand and nine disbeliiv..; Peary. Mr Whitney, the millionaire, •States that when he met Dr Cook it s was diffieik to distingue hi-ri the Eskimos.
