WEST AUSTRALIAN BUDGET, A PKOGRESSIVE POLICY. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received September 30, 10.20 a.m. PERTH, September 30. The Budget of the Colonial Treasurer, Hon. F. Wilson, estimates the revenue for the current year at £3,426,000, and the expenditure at £3,387,000. The season has been the best for ten years. It is expected that there will be a twelve bushel harvest, and three million bushels will be available for export. Since its start the Agricultural Bank has advanced over a million pounds to farmers. The construction- of agricultural and other railways will be continued wherever justifiable, and land settlement will be pushed forward".
