CRICKET CLUB MEETINGS.

CARLTON CLUB.

The seventh annual meeting of the Carlton Cricket Club was held in the secretary's room last evening, Mr E. Collinge being voted to the chair. The annual report and balance sheet showed the Club to be in a sound financial position, there being a balance of assets over liabilities of £lO 9s. ! The chairman moved the adoption of the report and balance sheet, the [motion being seconded by Mr Kobt erts and carried. It was decided that MrO'Meara's trophy be presented to Mr A. Styles, and that a trophy be presented to Mr A. Hoar It was decided to leave the nomination of Thursday and Saturday tsams in the hands of the committee. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr J. O'Meara (re-elected); President, Mr W. Piatt (reelected); Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. Elliott, H Douglas, D. Nicholson, S. Inder, B Iveson, T. Wyeth, and G. C. Summerell, The election of captain was held over. Secretary an d Treasurer, Mr F. P Welch; General Committee, Messrs E Collin je, E. Welch, A. Hoar, H Roberts, H. Bennett, A. Styles, and W. Boyd, and officers ex officio: Match Committee, Mr E, Collinge; Delegates to the Masterton Thursday Cricket Association, Wairarapa Cricket Association, and Cricket Council, Messrs E Collinge and F. P. Welch; Auditor, Mr N. H. Jame?. ' Mr Moss was voted the ball presented by Mr J. The annual maetmg iof the United Cricket Club was held last evening, a gooi attendance being presided over by Mr J. W. Blackrnan (President).
