STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abratam and Williams, Limited, report on their Eketahuna stock yesterday, as follows:—We. submitted a fairly large entry of cattle to a good attendance of the public, the yarding consisting mainly ot springing heifers and dairy cows, which did not sell so well as at previous sales. Most of the entry, however, changed hands under the hammer. In we yarded some lines of wethers in forward condition, which made full prices, on a par with other markets. The whole of our entry of sheep were disposed of, with the exception of one pen of ewes and lambs. ] Fat and forward wethers made 14s ?9d; forward wethers, 14s 3d; store ( wethers, 12s lid; fat and forward Inweswith few wethers, 12s. Spring ! ing heifers, .£3 to £5 for forward ' sorts; springing cowa, £4 to £4 ss; i cows in calf, £3 to £3 12s 6d; 2yr | steers. £3 15s; eoipty cowo, £2 Is; \ 2yr empty heifers, £2.
