PROPOSED CHURCH CONFERENCE.
At a meeting of Wairarapa clergy j on Tuesday, at which the Bishop of Wellington was present, it was de cided to hold a conference ot members of the church throughout the Wairarapa. The date suggested is Thursday, November 10th. The Bishop has kindly promised to be present, and will speak on "Christian Science and Mental Healing." Other subjects will be "The Church's work among the young women," "How to win men to active membership in the Church," "The teaching of the Church with regard to the acquisition and posaession of wealth.'! Tne Vicar of Masterton is acting as secretary, and will be pleased to give any information he can with regard to the arrangements.
