SECRETARIAL CONFERENCE By Telegraph—-Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 23. The conference of General Secre tariea of the Young Men's Christian ( Association was brought to a close this morning. It! was resolved that the various \ secretaries endeavour to' Becure | sufficient support to enable the, National Committee to obtain representation in the foreign mission field; that physical instructors of the various Associations be invited to attend lha Dominion Camp, to be held at Christmas, so that they might discuss questions of uniformity in the particular work in which they are now engaged. A motion was adopted approving of the principle of forming secretarial classes, and recommending that such be gone on with. Reference to the work of the late Sir George Williams, founder of the Young Men's Christian movement, was made, and it was decided! that the various secretaries in' New Zea- . land should be requested to endeavour to obtain a small donation from each Association towards the furnishing of an MAustralasian Room" in the" building which is to be erected in London in memory of the deceased gentleman.
