(From Our Resident Reporter). Tuesiity. toiss Monetieff, who has bejn visiting her relatives here left this morning on the return journey to Amtnca, where her home is. The fortnightly meeting of Tctara Lodge, U.A.0.D., wa3 held last evening, Bro. E. WalliJ, A.D., presiding. Ihe rules as amended at the recent bi-ennial conference were received. Four new members were pro-, posed, and two initiated. Receipts for the meeting were £8 8s 6d, and disbursements £6 18s. Another game in the card tournament followed the meeting, against the Fores'-.eis, who won by one game. The Middle Kan Golf team to play Greytown. on the Greytown links, on Saturday, is:—Mrs W. H. Biuth, Misses D. G. and K. Bcoth, Messrs W. Robieson, W. H., B. and A. E. Booth, J. Steel, J. Gray, E. W. Toogood. A. Booth. A. Gray, A. P. and R. W. Roydhouse and another. A quarterly summoned meeting of the Rechabite Lodge was held last night, C. R.. Bro. P. E. Tyler presiding. One new member was proposed. The Masterton Tent wrote offering to pay a fraternal visit, and it was decided to suggest October 11th as a suitable date. It was resolved to amalgamate two small funds, and place them in the Post Office Savings Bank, Bros. T. W. Foster and VV. H. Partridge bekie appointed Trustees of the fund.
