CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS. Received September 20, 1.5 a.m. SYDNEY. September 19. The Five-Miles Cross-Country Championship was won yesterday by Wood, of East Sydney, in 31min 34sec. MELBOURNE, September 19. The Ten Miles Cross, Country Championship yesterday was won by Aitken, of Coburg, in 58min 46sec—a record for the race.
