Received September 17, 10.2 oa.m» 'SYDNEY, September 17. A debate on the transfer of the capital site territory has been initiated in the State Assembly. The proposals were well received, all parties being in favour of treating the Commonwealth generously. Altogether, including the catchment area: it is proposed to transfer about 1,300 square miles, the value of which two years ago was estimated at £873,000.
