O'Donnell's thoroughbred stallion, The Workman, will stand this season at Upper Plain, Masterton at the moderate fee of £5 5s Lhe Workman is by Robinson Crusoe, from The Maid, both of whom are particularly well bred. Prior to being retired to the stud. The Work - man showed a remarkable turn of speed. His progeny invariably show plenty of quality, and on the rate track performed well. Shrapnel established a record when he won the C.J C. Grand National Hurdle Race in 1907. The Workman is known as a sure foal getter. PaddocKing is provided for mares at Is 6d per week.
