Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report:—We ottered a large catalogue of wool, skins and hides to a full attendance of buyers. Bidding was keen for everything offered, and a splendid sale resulted. Wool.—Prices were from par to £d higher than last sale. Skins.—All our skiii& were in tiptop condition, and amply repaid owners for the extra attention given them. Our top prices was 8s for a firstclass line. Prices showed a £d to lid rise as compared with last sale. Hides. — These showed a slightly easier tendency. We quote.—Wool: Half bred fleece, B£d; bright clean medium [crossbred, 8d; rough crossbred, 6d; best crutchings, 5d to 5Jd; medium, I4d to 4jd; inferior, 3£d; bailies and j piecea, 4gd. Skins.—Half bred, BJd; fine crossbred, 8d; medium crossbred, 7&d; hoarse crossbreds, 6|d; halt wools, s£d to 6d; dead. s£d; inferior and damaged crossbred, -id to 4£d; butchers' dry light, 4s 9d to 5s 3d to 5s 7d; good weights, 6s Sd to 6s lid; heavy, 7s 5d to 7s lOd to 83. These skins were all in splendid condition. Hides.—Heavy ox, fair condition, 6§d medium, 6Jd to 6|d light, s|d to s|d medium cows, s|d to s|d light, partly dry sd, calf, medium, Bfd ordinary, 6|d to Bd.
