Hurdle, Steeplechase and Welter Races —The winner of.any race after declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 7lb of two or more races IClbs. Weights for the First Day's Events will be declared on or about SATURDAY, 4th Sflptembor, 1909, and for the Second Pay's Events at the ( ffice of the Marton Jockey Club (next White Hart Hotel) as 7.30 on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for the First Day's events will close with the Secretary at tho office of the Club, Bulla, on FRIDAY. September 13th, 1909, at 9 p.m., and for Second Day's events at the office of the Marton Jockey Club at 9 o'clock on the evening of the Fu-fct Day, RULES. All Kaces to be run under the New Zealand Rules of Kacing, The winner of any race after declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of Rib, of two or more races 101b, provided that any horse handicapped at Hsfc 101b and over will carry only half these penalties.
