MASTERTON DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
HEADMASTERS' REPORT. The Headmaster of the Masterton District High School reported as follows to the meeting of the Masterton School Committee last evening:— The attendance during the past month was as follows. —Main School: Roll Gil. average attendance 581, percentage of attendance 95; Side School: 166, 151. 91; Secondary Classes: 78. 76, 96. The attendance has been very good during the whole month. There are no names for the absentee report. Staff.—-Miss Braddock has been selected by the Board to fill the position of pupil teacher, rendered vacant by the promotion of Miss von Keisenberg to an assistantship on the staff. Annual Examination. —The annual examination of the three departments of the school was completed on Friday last by Inspectors Flem • ing, Bakewell and Pennant. Term Holiday.—School closed on Friday afternoon la at for the term holiday of one week.
