AGREEMENTS WITH FOREIGN POWERS.
TRADE CONGRESS RESOLUTION
Received September 9, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, September 8. The Trades Union Congress now sitting at Ipiwich, carried a resolution protesting against the Government concluding agreements with foreign Powers without consulting people concerned In the dispute.
Mr D. J. Shackleton, Labour M.P. for Ciltheroe, characterised the resolution as "Democracy run mad."
