Results:— Flying Hack Handicap, of 60 sovs, 6 furlongs.—Dolce, 8.2 (including 161b penalty). 1; Shannon bass, 8 5. 2; Te Roti, 7.11, 3. Also started Waiata 8 4, Sir Possible 7 11, Buoy ant 7.10, Laires 74, Cork 7.2. A good race and a close finish. Won by half & length. Time, Imin 20 4 ssec. Park Stakes Handicap, of 80 sova, 6 furlongs—lney 7.11, 1; Te Kahu rangi 7.2, 21; Te Ru 7.0, 3. Also started—Toa Tuhi 74, Hermia 7.5. An excellent race, resulting in a fine finish between the first and second horses. Maiden Hack Race, of 50 sovs, w.f.a., 5 furlongs.—Captain Bell 8.11, 1; Lace Collar, 7.9, 2; Teotara 8.13, 3. Also started—Arapata 8.13, Cohort 8.11, Matira 8.11, Bravery 8.11, Lady Paul 8.11, Lady Linton 8.9, Penza 8.9, Clover 8.9, Ukuia 8.9, Marengo 8.0. Amphiansea 7.9. A good race between first and second horses. Won by a head, Teotara two lengths away third. Time, lmin 6sec. Horowhenua Cup, of 150 sovs, second horse 15 sovs, third horse ssovs, 1 mile and a furlong.—Aberbrothock 6.10, 1: Sir Frisco 9.0, 2; King Post 7.7, 3. Also started—All Red 10.0, Sandstream 8.8, Gaelic 7.2. Aberbrothock led from start to finish and won by a clear length. Time, 2min 3sec. Welter Hack Handicap, of 60 sovs, minimum weight 7.7, 7 furlongs.— Notorious 7.11, 1; Waipunui 7.2, 2; Rangikura 7.8, 3. Also started— Waione 9.0, Pukewai 7.8, Stevens, 7.7. Notorious went to the front and won with , ease by six lengths. Time, lmin 29 2-ssec. Hack Hurdles, of 70 sows, 1$ miles —Waimaria 9.6, 1, Hatle.v V.5 2, Aotea 9.12, 3. Also started —Rangihaeta 11.6, Tyrannic 10.9, Rawhiti 10.0, Yosami and Waipunehu 96, Tambour Major 9.0. Tambour Major led for a mile, when Aotea went to the front, but was beaten in the home run by the first two horses; two lengths between the placed horses. Time, 2min 58 3-ssec. Electric Hack Handicap, of 60 sovs, 4 furlongs.—Purakau 8.9, 1; Waiari 9.5, 2; Conquestina 8.7, 3. Also started—Waiata 8.12, Aimwell 8.9. Maika 8.0, Prevail 7.11, Undecided, Kina 7.8, Inveran, Kailoa, Captain Boronia 7.5. Waiari was the first away, and was joined by Purakau at the top of the straight. The latter came away and won by a length. Time, 52secs.
