TINUI NOTES.
(Prom Our Own Correspondent). TINUI, September 6. « 'lhe foresters' annual ball was held on the 3rd inst, and as mua) was largely attended. Vistors were present from Masterton and Aohanga, and from all parts of the district. There were many handsome dresses worn by the ladies. The Secretary, Mr S. Schofieid, and the MfJ.O., Messrs J. Stephen, J. Wingate and H. Groves, all carried out the duties in a capable manner. First-class music was supplied by Messrs iVIc Kenzie and Gray. ; On the following day a football match was played between Foresters and All-comers, and ended in a draw, after an exciting game. As the match was for a dinner both teams had to contribute towards its cost. An excellent dinner was provided by Mr l W. C Page and needless to say was done full justice 10.
