CARTERTON NEWS.
(From Our Resident Correspondent) Monday. The new pedal pipe organ given to St. Mark's Church to the memory of the late Rev. W. Booth, was played at the morning service yesterday by Mr J. J. Mead, and gave every satisfaction. It will be officially opened on Friday evening by Dr K. Fyffe. of Wellington. The choir of St. Mark's Church have received an invitation to visit Masterton on Tuesday week. Mr Eaton, senr., of Kokatau, a very old seller, is at present seriously ill.
