Messrs iJalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cable messages from their London House under date of the 2nd inst.Tallow-Mutton : Unchanged; other descriptions 3d to 6d higher. Frozen Meat. —A better demand exists for all classes. Prices are if anything tending upwards. The market for beef and lamb is firm, and the mutton market is firmer. Quotations are as follows:—New Zealand prime ox beef— Fores 2gd; hinds 3£d; New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 2gd; light 3§d; North Island heavy 2£d, light 3|d; New Zealand prime crossbred mutton Canterbury heavy 2§d. light 2|d; Norht Island heavy 2Jd, light 2£d.
Mr M. A. McFarlane; Tobacconist, Maryborough, Vic., writes: "My boy had | been troubled with bronchitis for some time, and though I had expert opinion and their prescriptions he still seemed to be getting worse.
