A FATAL DRAUGHT.

A roan, named Cox, a country visitor, engaged a room in the Hotei Arcadia. Feeling thirsty through the ni«ht he picked up a glass in the dark, filled it with watet and drank the contents. He was found dead It his since transpired that the previous occupant of the room was experimenting with cyan'de of potassium and other chemicals, and left a portion of the mixture in the glass.
