PALMERSTON N., September 2. , Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Palmerstun North , sale to-dayWe yarded only a small number of sheep and cattle, owing no doubt to the inclement weather. We quote Mixed hoggets 8s 6d; fat wethers 14s 7d; bulls 35s to £2; forward cows £3; empty cows in milk £2 to £3 17s 6d; springing cows and heifers £3 2s 6d to £3 17s 6d; yearlings £1 lis. Mesrss Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—We held two clearing sales of dairy stock this week at our Palmerston North yards. On Monday we sold sixty head of dairy cows on account of Mr W. Tayior and other clients. The attendance of the public was not large, but evrey animal offered was sold. The cows averaged £5 14 s and the heifers £4. The best price was £8 12s 6d. We also held a sate on Tuesday, on account of Mr R. Eunson, when we sold forty cows at an average'of £7 2s 6d, the best price being £ll 15s for a very nice Jersey cow. The sundries sold at very good prices, and the j sale all roiftid was very successful
