The Red Star Thirds will meat today to make arrangements for sending a . team to Palmerston North. Prior to the meeting the members will assemble at Mr Wilton's photography at 3 p.m., when a group photograph will be taken.
AMATEURS SUSPENDED,
Received September 2, 10 a m. SYDNEY, September 2. The General Committee of the Metrooolitan Rugby Union has considered the disaffection amongst the Wallabies, and has decided, after examining several witnesses to suspend the following players:— Barnett, A. Butge, P. Burge, Craig, Hickey, Mandible, M'Cabe, M'Kivatt, M'Cue, Russell, Farnsworth and Jubb. Evidence was given that offers of from £SO to £IOO had been made to the Waalibies to pfay a series of matches against the Kangaroos.
