GERMAN SPIES.
IN FRENCH MILITARY
QUARTERS.
Received September 3, 8.25 a.m. PARIS, September 2. It is reported in Paris that documents relating to mobilisation of tha army are missing from the French headquarters at Chalons. General Durand declares that the district swarms with German spies disguised as labourers, tramps, and trade assistants. German women are continually crossing the frontier. Whenever he made a tour of inspection, the General declares, another motor car followed filled with German officers.
