WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY.
INSTALLATION ON STEAMERS. LONDON, August 27. Mr J. Seddon, Labour member for Newton, referred, in the House uf Commons, to the missing steamer Waratah, and suggested that enquiry should be made into the various wireless telegraph systems, with a view to making installation compulsory, on all vessels carrying passengers. Mr Winston Churchill, President of the Board of Trade, in reply, said that such installations were desirable, but he; did not think the time had come for action of a compulsory or general chararter.
