JACK AND JILL.
Mr J. C. Williamson's pantomime "Jack and Jill" has achieve a sensational success in Australia and throughout New Zealand. It is said to display a remarkable profusion of special features for the delectation of theatre-goers. Those which appeal particularly to the children are:—The Teddy Beat Picnic, Noah's Ark Quadrilles, Pony Ballet, Giant Booster. The Children who lived in a Shoe, and the arnaz ing Giant Family. The chief spectacular features which appeal to old and young alike are:—The Butterfly Ballet, The Grand Snowstorm Ballet, and the Electric Ballet. The Palace of Precious. Stones and Grand March ot the Jewels are items which have called forth the most enthusiastic and absolutely unqualified praise. The comedy in which the pantomime abounds is in the capable hands of Messrs J. M. Campbell, E. Leslie, Victor Loydell, Clyde Cook, and Rupert Darrell. The music is reported aa catchy and tuneful to a degree. The Melbourne ''Herald" says:— "We have seen many brilliant panto mime productions, but 'Jack and Jill' is a little more brilliant in its kaleidoscopic colouring, a little richer in novelty, a little more entertaining than any other pantomime previously staged by Mr J. C. Williamson." The box plans are now on view a Miss Rive's.
