JACK AND JILL.
Mr J. C. Williamson's Pantomime, which will be staged here on Wednesday evebing next, is said to be the most gorgeous spectacle ever presented in Australasia. Songs, ballets, marches, catchy musical numbers and novel specialties are introin profusion. Mr Walter Stanton, as the Giant Rooster, repeats a performance in which he made "the hit" of the last London Lyceum pantomime. Then there are Messrs Morris and Wilson in their J clever animal impersonations, and also the Giant Family. Miss Stella Gastelle, the principal boy, comes with a big reputation built up in England, and heartily endorsed by Australian and New Zealand cities; Miss Betty Ohls, another prominent member of the company, established hei'self a warm favourite when in New Zealand with another company some time ago. The comedy is of a high order, and is principally in the able hands of Mr J. M. Campbell and Mr Fred. Leslie. The boxplan will be open from 9 o'clock till 10 o'clock this morning at the Town Hall, after which seats may be reserved at Miss Rive's.
