SUPREME COURT SITTINGS AT MASTERTON.

The probability of sittings of the Supreme Court being regularly held at Masterton is welcome news. Such sittings would not only tend to enhance the importance of the lown, but will be of considerable convenience in various ways, whila the members of the legal profession would, of course, much prefer to practise in a town where the Supreme Court sits. At one lime it appeared as though we ha.l lost the District Court, and were 1» have no compensating arrangement in the immediate future. The eiforts that have been [made to secure Supreme Court sittings in place of those of the District Court seem to have achieved I a satisiactory result.
