| PALMERSTON N., August 26. Messrs Abraham and Williams, I Ltd., report on their Palmerston North sales yesterday as follows: — The cattle yards were well filled, but only a few small lines of sheep came forward. Sales were made at the following quotations:—Lincoln ewes in lamb, 16s lid; fat wethers 34s 8d to 15s 6d, fat and forward bullocks, £6 10s; and 4-year bullocks, £5 10s; 2-year steers, £3 6s 6d; fat cows. £4 to £4 6s 6d; springing heifers, £3 16s to £5; forward cows. £2 15s to £3 2s 6d; vveaners, 26s to 30s 6d. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Mr Robert Hall's sale held at Nireaha yesterday. They quote:—-Springing oowa from £4 to £9 ss; cows in milk, from £6 to £9 5s —the whole herd ot 40 cows averaging six guineas. Sows, £6 ss; draught horses, from £ll to £33; sundries at current market rites.
