(By Telegraph—Special to the Age)

NAPIER, August 26.

The New Zealand Ladies' Championship was continued to-day at Hastings. The following ths results:—

Hawke's Bay A 3 v. Hawke's Bay 81. Thi3 was not a good game the A team playing much below their usual formal. Auckland 3 v. Horowhenua nil. Thi3 was a fair game.

Taranaki 6 v. Wellington nil. The fast passing of the Taranaki forwards was too much fir the Wellington hiiclis, and the West Coasters found the net on six occasions, Mis e3 Ogilvy (3 goals) Young (2 goals) and MacEwan being the scorers.

Wanganui nil v. Wairarapa B nil. This was a very even and keenly contested gams. Neither team had up to the present won a game during the 'tournament, so that each was desperately determined if possible to score a win. However, at the call of time no score had been made by either side, and the match ended in a draw.

Nelson 2 v. W&irarapa A 1. This was the best game of the day, and the play was fairly even. The Soiith Islanders managed to notch a win, but the luck of the game was with them, for Wairarapa attacked in great style on several occasions, and twice were unlucky in not adding to their score, one shot being a poster and another being lifted a few inches over the top of the net Miss Langridge scored 2 goals foi Nelson, and Miss K. O'Leary scored for Wairarapa. The losers were atticl ing strongly when the whistle blew.

The Wairarapa A team had a very lucky win against Wairarapa B The latter had all the best of the game, and liad the "A's" on the defence for the greater part of the game. Miss Bjcknell scored for the "A's."
