ONLY THREE WOMEN SAVED
GALLANTRY OF BRITISH BLUE-
JACKETS.
Received August 26, 8.40 a.m. MONTEVIDEO, August 25. Only three women were saved from the excursion steamer Colombia.
Seven'of the persons rescued died after beingjjanded Bluejackets from the British cruiser Amethyst displayed great gallantry, rescuing many of the excursioni3ts in the ship's boats.
