The Government were subjected to some severe criticism over the Premier's Conference agreement. Received August 26, 1 a.m. BRISBANE, August 25. In the Assembly, Mr Maughan resigned the Chairmanship ol Committees. Mr Kidston moved the suspension of the Standing Orders, to e.able the passage of the Appropriation Bill. The motion was carried alter debate by 36 votes to 35. The House is still sitting,
