SPANISH REINFORCE-
MENTS, WOMEN FIGHTING IN MOORISH RANKS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received August 25, 8.30 a.m. MADRID, August 24. Reinforcements to the extent of sixteen thousand men, mobilised in Madrid, will proceed to Melilla, immediately. Spanish correspondents report that women are fighting in the Moorish ranks.
A MINE FIRED
NUMBER OF MOORS KILLED

The Spaniards laid a mine under part of a railway which the Riffs nightly visited, near Gurugu. The mine was fired last night, and killed a large number of the enemy.
