Nominations for all events will cloje with the secretary at the office of the Club, Bulls, on FRIDAY, 20th August, 1909, at9pru. • ' Weights for the First Day s Events will be declared on or about SATURDAY, 4th September, 1909, and for the Second Day's Events at the office or the Marton Jockey Club (next White Hart Hotel) at 7.30 on the evening of the b irst for the First Day's events will close with the Secretary at the office of the Club, Bulls, on FRIDAY, September 10th, 1909, at 9 p.m., and for Second Day's events at the oflice of the Marton Jockey Club at 9 o'clock on the evtiiing of the Firot Day.

RULES. All Kaces to bo run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing, The winner of any race after declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 61b, of two or more races 101b, provided that any horse handicapped at Bst 101 b and over will carry only half these penalties. This rule does not apply to Hurdle, Steeplechase and Welter Races.
